Dorothy began painting in 1987 after being introduced by her freind and artsit Eunice Napangardi. Dorothy's paintings are highly sought after by both collectors and curators worlwide.
In 2001 Dorothy won the 18th National Aboriginal & Torres Strait islander awards.
