Lorna started painting in 1986 and is a senior Warlpiri custodian. Lorna was born circa 1920 at Yartula Yartula, Lorna's work depicts the bush foods of her country. Lorna uses virbrant colours with a heavy brush loaded with paint to create her amazing art that is given the like to Emily Kame Kngwarreye style
Having know Lorna on a personal level she was a very strong and caring women who was always welcoming you with a big kiss and a hug, she is truly a huge loss to the aboriginal art movement.
